Vivek Arakali Nagaraja Rao is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with over 6 years of relevant experience in building full-stack enterprise applications. His expertise lies in software engineering, infrastructure, mobile, web, Android, React Native, Docker, NoSQL, MongoDB, iOS, microservices, UI, testing, JavaScript, and Jenkins. Vivek's current role at Oracle involves designing and developing enterprise-level applications using cutting-edge technologies. He is responsible for building scalable and reliable applications that meet the needs of the business. He also works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the applications are delivered on time and within budget. Prior to joining Oracle, Vivek worked as a Software Engineer at Honeywell, where he developed React reusable components and libraries that were used across multiple applications and teams. He also wrote C# REST APIs for the required functionality and integrated them with UI functionality. Vivek built and deployed docker images of services and web applications to OpenShift containers and used Kong microservice API gateway to route API requests. He interacted with MongoDB and wrote NoSQL scripts to carry out CRUD operations. Additionally, he developed Android and iOS mobile applications in React Native to work on Honeywell Noise monitoring headsets. Vivek completed his Master's degree in Computer Science from Clemson University in 2018, where he gained a solid understanding of software engineering principles and practices. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dayananda Sagar University.
